The Saint takes time off from his duties in the harvesting of dew with the intended purpose of consulting the Oracle. He bears the humble carriage of a man who spent his entire life in a quiet quest to alter the verbal environment. ‘Today, I finally met God’, he says as he enters the Oracle’s alleged chamber, ‘What does it all mean’? There is no immediate reply but this does not trouble him. (He possesses an eidetic memory yet for some reason he cannot remember much less perceive the Oracle’s face.)
