It’s late, and for once
your radio turns on by itself,
with a stereo broadcast
of a pair of wings flapping,
one in each speaker.
As you stand between them,
the loud sound is balanced
so that the wings seem attached
to your shoulder blades.
When the broadcast ends,
they are, and take you away.
