Poem of the Day
Study of Children
By Asha Futterman
did you know
that you all work for me?
I asked them as a joke
did you know
that you all work for me?
I asked them as a joke
It is something they know only after
meals. You have heard of the sparrow’s fall?
He’s princely when he’s here, our Gilgamesh,
but soon we will be leaving him for good.
I like its look.
I lick the evening, too.
