Fiction allows one “to tell truths that there is no other way to tell.”

Couldn’t agree more. This was fantastic.

This was such a beautiful and entertaining interview. I especially loved James Salter’s sprightly and insightful comments. A pleasure to watch. Thank you, Paris Review.

finally got to see/hear the program; had dvr’d it at midnight ;-)

interesting to see the several generations of writers, and hear how the magazine, and its founder, have meant so much to them

also very interesting to hear how the web has actually helped, by rescuing past work and interviews from “nostalgia”

all in all, so very worth while, thanks so much ;-)

The responses were good, but charlie rose is out of his depth here. A lot of his questions were almost embarrassing.

After four months, my vitiligo was still spreading and I was getting daily migraines, so I stopped the corticosteroids.
