It was a church: the thirteenth-century Boekhandel Selexyz Dominicanen in Maastricht, Netherlands, to be exact. Converted and restored in 2007, it is now a fully-functioning bookstore, complete with coffee shop. See more pictures here.

    Was just there for the big TEFAF art fair! Maastricht is an absolute gem particularly on the university side of the Maas..go here instead of Bruges during the colder months..

    In the English city of Leeds there is an old church in use as a nightclub. It is called Halo.
