Many of us have forgotten the minutia of the novel in question – does your panel consist in oblique references to tertiary events described therein, or is it a formulation based on the general ethos evoked in the streets scenes. Perhaps the novel was just a germinal idea? Or does the panel represent an imagined god’s eye daguerreotype a la Holgrave plus pilgrims and aboriginals with the inhabitants as Fraggles?
