In the years since, its fame has only grown: it was set to music in a much-covered 1953 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=kyi50LWPAqY\" target=\"_blank\">song by\u00a0L\u00e9o Ferr\u00e9<\/a>, made into<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=yzlirl3p2_k\" target=\"_blank\"> a choral arrangement<\/a> by Lionel Daunais, and later interpreted <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=SvOhI8iMrg8\" target=\"_blank\">by the Pogues<\/a>. A plaque bearing the last lines can be found on the bridge\u2019s foot.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In a rare recording, you can hear Apollinaire himself read \u201cLe Pont Mirabeau\u201d:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/afpoCepIt1A\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theparisreview.org\/back-issues\/202\" target=\"_blank\">issue 202<\/a>, the <em>Paris Review\u00a0<\/em>staff contributed unsigned translations of ten Apollinaire poems.
