Created by the filmmakers Tom Bean, Casey Brooks, and Luke Poling, each video is a portrait of the artist as a beginner\u2014and a look at the creative process, in all its joy, abjection, delusion, and euphoria.<\/p>\n<p>Today\u2019s featured writer is the playwright\u00a0<strong>Katori Hall<\/strong>, whose American debut, <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bloomsbury.com\/us\/katori-hall-plays-one-9781408177761\/\" target=\"_blank\">Hoodoo Love<\/a><\/em>, first appeared\u00a0off Broadway at the Cherry Lane Theatre in 2007.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy First Time\u201d will return with a new set of authors, including\u00a0<strong>Ben Lerner<\/strong>, in a few months.
