She\u2019s part of a panel on magazine redesigns at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fitnyc.edu\/2688.asp\" target=\"_blank\">the Fashion Institute of Technology<\/a>, and she\u2019ll be joined by art directors from\u00a0the<em>\u00a0New York Times Magazine\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0<em>Aperture<\/em>:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>The<em> New York Times Magazine<\/em>,<em> The Paris Review<\/em>, and <em>Aperture <\/em>magazine have all recently undergone extensive redesigns, each with far-reaching results. The three art directors involved in these redesign efforts\u2014Michael Famighetti at <em>Aperture, <\/em>Gail Bichler at the<em> New York Times Magazine, <\/em>and Charlotte Strick at <em>The Paris Review<\/em>\u2014will talk about how the initiatives materialized, what the expectations were, what the verdict is so far; and whether redesign efforts reflect or lead evolutionary development in mission and content.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The talk begins at one thirty; it\u2019s free and open to the public, but seating is limited, and <a href=\"http:\/\/designbookfair.com\/program\/reflections-on-re-designs-a-conversation-with-three-magazine-design-directors\/\" target=\"_blank\">you can reserve a seat for ten dollars<\/a>.
