I just figured there must still be various ways to make art \u201cabout\u201d something without making it bad or sentimental. Comics basically seemed a way \u00adtoward this goal for me, especially since they are a language meant to be read, not seen\u2014which is a frighteningly interesting and very human way of perceiving the world, and one that\u2019s generally given short shrift, especially in art schools.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Tickets for tomorrow\u2019s event are <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bam.org\/literary\/2015\/chris-ware\" target=\"_blank\">available here<\/a>.
