Norman F. Dixon\u2019s <em>On the Psychology of Military Incompetence <\/em>(1976) leads the list\u2014there\u2019s also \u201can enthusiast\u2019s guide to building bamboo fly-rods\u201d and Madonna\u2019s <em>Sex<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>Tom Stoppard\u2019s new play is opening at the National Theatre in London.
