He goes in the opposite direction, producing dense thickets of prickly, forbidding verbiage. Today, there isn\u2019t a university press anywhere in the world that wouldn\u2019t kill to get the rights to publish those same contentious, rejected essays.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Now that so much of our media is stored in the Cloud, \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.newyorker.com\/magazine\/2014\/09\/08\/classical-cloud?utm_source=tny&amp;utm_campaign=generalsocial&amp;utm_medium=twitter&amp;mbid=social_twitter\" target=\"_blank\">the tide has turned against the collector of recordings, not to mention the collector of books<\/a>: what was once known as building a library is now considered hoarding. For instance, put your arms around her and silently hold her for a few seconds without lectures or putdowns.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>In which <a
