The British Treasury refrained from printing it during World War II because they thought \u201cthe phrase was \u2018too commonplace to be inspiring \u2026 it may even annoy people.\u2019\u201d Prescient.<\/li>\n<li>Have novelists <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/global\/2014\/jun\/27\/are-authors-running-out-of-book-titles-kate-atkinson-stephen-king-muriel-spark-jk-rowling\" target=\"_blank\">exhausted the supply of decent titles<\/a>? Last year saw two books called <em>Life After Life<\/em>; this year there\u2019s <em>Remember Me This Way <\/em>and <em>Remember Me Like This<\/em>; and Stephen King\u2019s <em>Joyland<\/em> came eight years after Erica Schultz\u2019s <em>Joyland.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.vice.com\/read\/but-what-i-really-want-to-do-is-write-0000336-v21n6?utm_source=vicetwitterus\" target=\"_blank\">Celebrity novels, reviewed<\/a>: Chuck Norris\u2019s <em>The Justice Riders <\/em>\u201cwraps up with Justice sharing the gospel with Mordecai, then shooting him dead after the bad guy rejects Jesus\u2014which is sort of Norris\u2019s worldview in a nutshell.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>To catch a (phone) thief: \u201cYou\u2019d NEVER send a message <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/media\/mind-your-language\/2014\/jun\/27\/good-grammar-saves-lives-and-rescues-friendships\" target=\"_blank\">with the incorrect \u2018your\u2019<\/a>\u2014no
