Click the photo to see the ad in full; it merits scrutiny.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Anyone <em>seriously<\/em> seeking Truth, Love, and a real and true ALTERNATIVE to the deadness and shallowness of the American Dream, rather than merely seeking people or trips to become dependent upon: THESE BOOKS ARE FOR YOU!<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cThis generation may hide these masterpieces under their beds,\u201d the ad goes on, \u201cbut the next generation will more likely use them like a Bible!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m of that next generation, and I can tell you: we most certainly would, if we only knew where to find them.<\/p>\n<p>Information on the whereabouts of Richard M. Vixen has been hard to come by\u2014we appreciate any tips you can offer. We do know that Avant-Garde Creations, of Eugene, Oregon, was in existence as recently as 1981, when the company took out <a href=\"http:\/\/books.google.com\/books?id=j-sDAAAAMBAJ&amp;pg=PA24&amp;lpg=PA24&amp;dq=%22avant-garde+creations%22+eugene&amp;source=bl&amp;ots=i69ockpVWk&amp;sig=Hu0lZOfyQ6gYE-9qk_4lPT3bc4s&amp;hl=en&amp;sa=X&amp;ei=CD-WU5iOGYmdyATY3oDIDg&amp;ved=0CCAQ6AEwAA#v=onepage&amp;q=%22avant-garde%20creations%22%20eugene&amp;f=false\" target=\"_blank\">an ad in <em>Yoga Journal<\/em><\/a>\u2014a questionnaire, in fact, whose first prompt is \u201cAre you conscious of a deep desire to be in an environment in which you could choose to be with any of 20 (or so) people, all of whom you love and who love you?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Evidence indicates that Mr. Vixen wrote, in addition to the series advertised here, <em>The Game of Orgy<\/em> (with a foreword by Robert Rimmer) and <em>The Magic Carpet and the Cement Wall, for Kids from 8 to 92<\/em>. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Deep-foot-Richard-M-Vixen\/dp\/0930182022\/ref=sr_1_5?s=books&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1402354729&amp;sr=1-5\" target=\"_blank\">A rhapsodic Amazon review of<\/a> <em>Deep Foot<\/em> describes it thus:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>A triumphant, voluptuous novel about a woman&#8217;s enlightenment.
