But after the 2009 tsunami destroyed the family\u2019s library, she decided to rebuild on <a href=\"http:\/\/greenandgold.uaa.alaska.edu\/index.php?option=com_content&amp;view=article&amp;id=9586:I-AM-UAA-Kato-Kakal-Haunga&amp;Itemid=120\" target=\"_blank\">a larger scale<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>With help from range of organizations, including much of the University of Alaska Anchorage community, Senator Lisa Murkowski, and\u00a0 the U.&thinsp;S. Navy, Ha\u2019unga has made great headway in opening what will be Tonga\u2019s first public library, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.northernlightslibrary.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Northern Lights Library<\/a> in the Ha\u2018apai Group. A location has been secured, fifty thousand books donated, and shipping costs covered. Says she, \u201cGrandma never left the island. Through books, me and Grandma could travel. She can see the Eiffel Tower.
