Last year,<a href=\"http:\/\/www.wendymcclure.net\/books-by-wendy\/the-wilder-life-my-adventures-in-the-lost-world-of-little-house-on-the-prairie\/\"> Wendy McClure reported from the <em>Little House<\/em> pilgrim trail<\/a>, and Oxford, Mississippi, has drawn fans of Southern Gothic since Faulkner\u2019s 1950 Nobel.\u00a0On this site, you\u2019ll recall <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theparisreview.org\/blog\/2012\/02\/20\/in-miss-eudora\u2019s-garden\/\">Margaret Eby&#8217;s paeon<\/a> to Eudora Welty\u2019s Jackson garden. If you want to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.huffingtonpost.co.uk\/2012\/04\/16\/worst-literary-pilgrimages_n_1428343.html\">reenact <em>The Canterbury Tales<\/em><\/a>, well, you can. \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/2012\/04\/23\/us-usa-tourism-books-idUSBRE83L0AQ20120423\">In recent years<\/a>, readers have flocked to the Pacific Northwest to get a taste of <em>Twilight<\/em>; lovers of <em>The Help<\/em> have tried to get a taste of the 1960s in Greenwood, MS; and now, you can even experience the survivalist thrill of <em>The Hunger Games<\/em> in North Carolina.<\/p>\n<p>Over the weekend, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ft.com\/intl\/cms\/s\/2\/93254e06-8571-11e1-a394-00144feab49a.html#axzz1smwaew53%3C\/p\">the <\/a><em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ft.com\/intl\/cms\/s\/2\/93254e06-8571-11e1-a394-00144feab49a.html#axzz1smwaew53%3C\/p\">FT<\/a><\/em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ft.com\/intl\/cms\/s\/2\/93254e06-8571-11e1-a394-00144feab49a.html#axzz1smwaew53%3C\/p\"> reported live<\/a> from Germany\u2019s \u201cFairy Tale Road,\u201d on which one can walk in the steps of Pied Pipers (Hamlin), the Musicians of Bremen, and the sites where Grimm scholars believe Sleeping Beauty might have actually pricked her finger and Rapunzel let down her hair. (More easily verifiable are locales that figured in the brothers\u2019 lives.)  Of course, in real life, all is not fairy-tale perfect.
