(We rearranged the furniture a bit before he arrived, and ordered pizza.) Wainwright played both\u00a0classics and songs from his new album, <em>Lifetime Achievement<\/em>, accompanied on occasion by his longtime friend and collaborator Joe Henry. His rendition of\u00a0\u201cNew Paint,\u201d first released in 1972, was especially striking.
