Dedicated to her lover and muse Dieter Roth, Iannone\u2019s 1969 <\/em>A Cookbook\u00a0<em>drips with love and color. <\/em><em>Nestled among instructions for her favorite dishes are the feminist artist\u2019s sweetest, most intimate thoughts. Across from an entry on lentil soup, she writes: \u201cOnly pain or pleasure can make art. Some people say longing too.\u201d Directions for beef Wellington abut her admission that \u201ceven the wedding a few weeks ago of my best friend failed to move me.\u201d Ticking across the top of her gazpacho recipe: \u201cI don\u2019t like to be sad.
