    Thank you, Paris Review, for illustrating this blog item with a photo of my beloved aunt, a now-retired medical librarian. I can’t imagine how you came upon this old picture (is the clunky IBM computer an example of the adversity she faced so nobly?) but I was delighted to see it. As was she.

    It caught my eye right away, in no small part because of that clunky computer. My best to you and your aunt, who is most certainly a noble librarian.
