      Hello,

I recently signed up for an online subscription to The Paris Review
for $29.00. In order to read the entire Chuck Close article on photography and models … I need to purchase the paper back
      edition?

In my art studio in NYC, my models do not like to have their faces
photographed. I wondered why Mr. Close’s models allow their faces to be photographed in the nude portraits? Has Mr. Close
signed a release with his models? I do not get the $$$$$ for my
Artwork that Mr. Close gets for his paintings and photographs.
Does his art gallery get a % of the copywrite? Yes, the models
expose themselves to Mr. Close who is the voyeur but the models
also know that their photographs might end up on a huge wall in an art gallery on Madison Avenue in NYC. There is more going on here than meets the eye. I recently went to an auction at Sotheby’s where Mr. Closes painting fetches more money than
a small brownstone sells for in Brooklyn. We need to have the whole story.
