      I going to keep a vase of flowers on my writing table from now on.

      And maybe the best thing about living in New York as a writer is the constant inspiration. I got to see Edvard Munch’s “The Scream” at the MoMA, the “Picasso: Black and White” exhibit at the Guggenheim, and a great play on the LES last weekend. Can that happen anywhere else in America?
